So below I list the absolute best spots for mining as Horde or Alliance. But before you read this you must download this mod. It takes note of past mining locations making it easier for you! The link ----> http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/4947/1-65 - Copper= Any starting point for your race you will find plenty of copper. In my opinion Elwynn Forest (human starting area) is by far the best copper mining spot.
65-125- Tin and Silver= Barrens plenty of both.
126-175- Iron and Gold= Arathi Highlands good mining area. This is where I mined. Be sure to check caves!
176-250- Mithril and Truesilver= Searing Gorge is full of Mithril and has some Dark Iron (lvl 230 mining)
251-300- Thorium and Mithril= Burning Stepps. My favorite mining spot for Thorium.
